Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Recognize and confidently perform fundamental hand-sewing techniques.
- Take precise body measurements and draft bespoke trousers, a single breasted waistcoat and single breasted jacket using direct measurement methods.
- Develop full-scale patterns from initial measurements.
- Cut and prepare cloth in accordance with traditional tailoring practices.
- Assess, adjust, and resolve fit issues during fittings for trousers, waistcoats and jackets.
- Construct and refine a personal master pattern.
- Produce a fully finished bespoke pair of trousers, a waistcoat and jacket and Ulster coat.
